我的观察手记

带孩子做科创项目这几年,我发现一个有意思的现象:

孩子们学会的第一件事,不是编程,不是焊接,而是开口向陌生人问问题。

这件事听起来简单,做起来却是一场硬仗。

一、为什么孩子需要学会“问”?

在学校里,孩子们习惯了这样一种模式:

老师出题 → 学生作答 → 老师批改 → 知道对错

这个过程里,所有的问题都是别人给的,所有的答案都有标准。

但科创项目不一样。

当一个孩子决定做“帮助老人上下楼的装置”时,没有人能告诉他标准答案是什么。他不知道老人真实的需求是什么,不知道市面上有没有类似的产品,不知道自己的设计思路对不对。

他唯一能做的,就是去问。

问老师、问队友、问专家、问陌生人。

“问”这个动作,把一个被动接受知识的学生,变成了主动寻找答案的探索者。

这种身份的转变,是科创教育真正的起点。

二、街头调研:一场真实的社交成人礼

在我们的流程里,孩子们必须走上街头做问卷调查。

这不是走过场。一个孩子要完成50份有效问卷,意味着他至少要向100个人开口——因为有一半的人会拒绝。

我记得有个三年级的男孩,第一次站在商场门口,手里攥着问卷,脸憋得通红,五分钟没敢迈出一步。

他妈妈在旁边看着,急得想上去帮忙。

我拦住了。

又过了十分钟,他终于拦住了一位牵着孩子的年轻妈妈。

“阿姨您好,我是XX小学的学生,我们在做一个关于垃圾分类的项目,能耽误您两分钟帮我们填一份问卷吗?”

四、那些看不见的收获

每次调研结束,我都会让孩子们分享感受。

有趣的是,他们从来不说“我收集到了很多数据”。

他们说:

“我发现说‘您好’的时候笑一下,别人答应我的概率会高很多。”

“我发现老人比年轻人更愿意停下来,因为他们不赶时间。”

“我发现被拒绝的时候,说一句‘不好意思打扰了’,自己心里会好受一点。”

这些发现,比问卷上的数据更值钱。

它们是一个孩子在与真实世界碰撞之后,自己总结出的生存智慧。

它们让孩子明白:

· 礼貌不是挂在嘴边的口号,是降低别人防备心的工具。

· 共情不是写在作文里的套话,是理解为什么有人会拒绝你的能力。

· 开口求助不是示弱,是解决问题的最高效方式。

这些东西,没办法用分数衡量,没办法写在成绩单上。但它们会像种子一样,埋在孩子的性格里,在未来的某个时刻破土而出。

五、从“我我我”到“请问您”

回过头看,为什么要带孩子参加科创比赛?

不是为了那张奖状。

是为了让他从“以自我为中心”的舒适区里走出来,走到真实的人群中去,走到那些不确定的回答和可能的拒绝中去。

一个敢于向陌生人开口的孩子,不会害怕在课堂上举手。

一个习惯了被拒绝的孩子,不会因为一次失败就否定自己。

一个学会了提问的孩子,永远不会被困在原地。
